What is Love?

"What is love?" the little boy asked.
"I can't answer that," said his grandmother, so the boy went out into the world to find the answer.

However, everyone he met—fishermen, actors, and others—gave him an answer, but none of them felt entirely right.
Was love really a fish? Or applause? Or the night?
Or, was it actually something closer to home?
